Amy and Nick's Wedding, May 2nd

I know I always say "This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing..." but this weekend I really did have the great pleasure of photographing Amy and Nico's beautiful wedding. We had tons of fun despite the winds and cold outside and captured thousands of beautiful pictures that I'm sure we both will cherish forever.
I was really looking forward to this wedding since the moment I met Amy and her family at the Bridal Show last September. I could tell right away that she had a bubbly personality and she is just so cute. After doing their engagement photos I could tell they really were in love and the only time Nico would smile was while he was looking at Amy so I am very proud to show some images of him actually smiling (It was tough though)

This bouquet was very impressive. It was made by a favourite vendor of mine, Candice from Creations By Candice who I have worked with before. The wrap around the bouquet was the sash that came with Amy's dress. I think it turned out amazing and her details shots were all incredible.

Inside the church, St. Anne's, not allowed to use flash and was told to be invisible, so was shooting without the huge tripod. After the ceremony Amy said she didn't see me at all so I obviously did a good job at being inconspicuous.

Photobucket
Thanks to Steve, the best man, for this pose. Sorry that I tried to change your pose because you did a great job. I was trying to take the pictures of the girls and I told the boys to just relax and i turn around the find them climbing the ruins!

The girl's, all looking so beautiful.

Photobucket
The guys, misbehaving again. "danger, keep off" does not mean anything to this bunch... but I am so glad they did because these pictures are one of a kind.

These cakes were truly awesome. They were all handmade by a friend of Amy's, I wish I caught her name, but she made 80 little cakes and hand decorated each of them and the larger piece that they are cutting into. Everyone was in awe of the detail and time it must have taken to produce these.

and finally the speeches..
Photobucket
I'm pretty sure this is when Amy's dad said that it was good that everyone realized that Amy was the princess that she thought she was! Very touching speeches and I caught some great reactions as well...

I wish both Amy and Nico the happiest future because they definitely deserve it, and when they eventually have children they must come back to see me!

Sabrina And Mike Engagement Photos

Downtown Ottawa, this time the grass was green and it was alittle bit warmer than the February session.
This couple is so cute and affectionate! They wanted to do a kind of natural feel to the photos and I think I captured how they interact with each other.
Sabrina's makeup was done by a great makeup artist who I met in Makeup classes named Cathy Kiraly of Best Face Forward. She did such a nice natural makeup for her as she doesn't normally wear makeup and I think it looked fantastic.

Thank goodness that the weather wasn't like yesterday when that storm rolled across Ottawa and Gatineau.

Tessa and Eric's Wedding, April 18th

I had the pleasure of photographing Tessa and Eric's wedding this past Saturday in Ottawa. Their ceremony was held at St. Gabriel's church, which was beautiful and the reception at the Orleans Legion.
Here are a few of my favourites so far...

A big Congratulations goes to Chrysanthe and Stephen who are expecting a baby boy July 11th, 2009!
Here are a couple photos from our session at the Arboretum. Thank goodness for Chryssy always being warm because I dragged them outside and it was freezing this Sunday the 5th of April.
