Computer Concepts in Kanata is the best!

With all my recent terrible customer service (for both the business and for the wedding) I have to rave about my latest WONDERFUL experience.
As you probably all know by now, my hard drive died and I spent a few days running around dealing with people who couldn't help me or who wanted to charge me over 800 dollars to recover my data (who will remain nameless). My last hope was Computer Concepts on Castlefrank Road in Kanata.

I went in around 12:00pm and they told me they would check it out and give me a call later in the afternoon if they could see my data. At about 3:00pm they told me to come back in because they'd recovered my data in what would have taken the other guys three days and at like 10 times less!

I see on their website http://www.computerconcepts.ca/ it says "tired of dealing with big box stores?" and yes I am, i love supporting smaller businesses because we have to look out for each other.

Anyways, Doug at Computer Concepts is my new best friend. Sorry Mario of 1180 Party Productions. (Mario was my best friend from the time he said he'd dj my wedding until now!)
They've already checked in to make sure my hard drive is still working and I've managed to transfer my data and for that I thought they deserved a post about how wonderful they are. It's refreshing to find a company that isn't looking to take advantage of you and genuinely are concerned about your important data.

Inconclusion, if you have computer problems or want computer products including harware and software, do yourself a favour of not dealing with uneducated people who will sell you the wrong cable (again no names) and go to Computer Concepts because they're the best!

July was family portrait month

Here at the studio and location, July seemed to be the month of family portraits and it was great. We seemed to have good weather long enough for our outdoor and in studio shots of several families. Here are 6 week old cutie Mackenzie and 11 month old beauty, Grace.

Kayla and Chuk!

This year I don't have too many Strathmere weddings (unlike last year) so I vowed to do everything in my power to use all the locations for Kayla and Chuk's wedding in June.

Here are a few of my favourites from their engagement session at Mackenzie King Estate that I posted as the network crashed!
